How big are Urban Drinkware bottles?

Our standard reusable bottles hold up to 750ml of liquid and come in dimensions of 31cm x 7.2cm. Their base fits most car cup holders. 

Our smaller reusable bottles hold up to 500ml of liquid and come in dimensions of 24cm x 7.2cm. Their base fits most car cup holders.

Are Urban Drinkware bottles suitable for kids? 

Our 750ml bottles might be a bit big for your little ones – but don’t worry, our family bundle contains 500ml alternatives that are perfect for smaller grips. These bottles come in dimensions of 24.2cm x 7.2cm. 

We also plan on adding a 330ml bottle to our range soon, so follow us on socials to see when they launch.

Where are my bottles manufactured?

Urban Drinkware is a UK based business and our products are manufactured in China. “Made in China” conjures up a lot of stigma – but there is no other place in the world that has the same manufacturing capabilities. China’s policy is moving fast, too, with the adoption of EVs, deployment of solar and environmental production regulations happening on an ongoing basis. We have carefully checked all our manufacturing partners to ensure they are adopting practices that fit our ethos. 

What are my bottles made from?

Our products are manufactured using 304 (18/8) food grade stainless steel, which contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel. They’re BPA free, too. 

Is my bottle leakproof?

Yep! We’ve designed our products and their components to be watertight, so you don’t need to worry about leaks and spills while you’re on the go. 

Is my bottle rustproof?

Yes! The nickel in the 304 grade 18/8 stainless steel that’s used to create our products enhances our bottles’ resistance to rust and corrosion. 

What are the bottle’s seals made from?

The seals are manufactured using food grade silicone, which is non-toxic, water-repellent, and resistant to bacteria. 

Will condensation build up on the outside of my bottle?

All our bottles are vacuum sealed to prevent condensation. The outside shell of your item will stay dry, regardless of the temperature of the liquid inside. 

How long will my bottle keep my drinks cold for?

You can expect your beverages to stay cold for up to 24 hours. 

How long will my bottle keep my drinks hot for? 

You can expect hot drinks to retain their temperature for up to 12 hours.

What kinds of liquids can I store in my bottle?

You can store pretty much any liquid in your bottle, from plain old water to cold and fizzy drinks (including alcoholic ones!) and hotter liquids like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soup. 

Can I store liquids in my bottle for long periods of time?

We would advise against leaving liquids of any kind in your bottle for longer than 24 hours. Certain beverages, like alcoholic or dairy-based drinks, will spoil if they are left to their own devices for too long. 

Can I personalise my bottle?

Absolutely! Your bottle can be engraved with up to 8 characters. You’ll have the option to add your personalisation requirements to your order during checkout.

How do I clean my bottle?

We would recommend rinsing out your bottle with warm soapy water after every use. This will keep bacteria at bay, and help to keep your drinks tasting fresh. We would also advise getting hold of our bottle brush set, which contains all the nifty tools you need to keep your products in top condition. For an even deeper clean, use bicarbonate of soda to dissolve stubborn dirt and get rid of any lingering odours. 

Can I put my bottle in the dishwasher? 

It’s not a good idea, as the appliance may damage the bottle and its components, particularly its vacuum seal. Follow the cleaning instructions above, instead. 

Can I put my bottle in the fridge or the freezer?

Thanks to their double-walled insulation, our bottles will keep your drinks cold from the inside out. We advise against putting them in the fridge or freezer, as doing so will not have any effect on the temperature of your beverage. If you want your drink to be as cold as can be, try using cold water from the fridge, or adding ice cubes into your bottle. 

Can I put my bottle in the microwave? 

No, Urban Drinkware bottles are not safe for use in the microwave.   

How should I store my bottle?

When it’s not in use, store your bottle in a cool, dry place, without the lid on.

Can I buy a new lid for my bottle? 

Sure! You can purchase additional lids in various colours here. These roped lids provide extra grip. 

Can i take my bottle through airport security? 

As long as the bottle is empty, it should be fine to take through airport security. We would recommend checking with the airport before flying, though, as policies vary from location to location. 

How much does shipping cost? 

Delivery within the UK is charged at a flat rate of £3.95. International shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. More information on our delivery fees can be found in our shipping policy here.

How long will it take for my bottle to be delivered?

We aim to process all orders within 3 to 5 business days. More information on our delivery times can be found in our shipping policy here.

How can I check the status of my order? 

You will receive a notification email when your order has been shipped. This will include a tracking number that can be used to check the status of your item(s). For more information on what to do if you don’t receive a confirmation message, click here

Will my purchase come with a warranty?

Yes – we’re pleased to offer lifetime warranties on all our reusable bottles. It guarantees your purchase against manufacturer defects, not scratches, dents and general wear and tear. Click here for more information or to submit a claim. 

I’m not happy with my bottle. Can I get a refund? 

Oh no! We hope you’ll never want to send your bottle back – but if you do, then bear in mind that we can accept returns up to 30 days after the item has been delivered. Check out our refund policy for more details on how we process returns. Please note that we cannot allow returns of personalised or co-branded items. 

Can I exchange my bottle for another one?

Yes. However, the fastest (and easiest) way to exchange a bottle is to apply for a refund on your purchase, then purchase your preferred item separately. 

What happens if my bottle is damaged when it arrives? 

If your bottle is damaged or otherwise defective, then we’ll do what we can to set things right. Contact us straightaway with your concerns and we’ll review the issue from there.
